Phil Foster Park is a great spot to dock or anchor along the Intracoastal Waterway. Just north of West Palm Beach in Lake Worth Lagoon, this 14-acre beachfront park features an underwater snorkeling trail, boat ramps, and a playground.

Visitors can then move their boat to a larger dock on the northwest edge of the property that’s available for long periods of time. Another option is the Singer Island Anchorage immediately north of the Blue Heron Boulevard Bridge and Phil Foster Park.

Kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear rentals are available through the Singer Island Outdoor Center located inside the park property.

Phil Foster Park is also an exciting snorkeling destination. In August 2012, Palm Beach County completed construction of an 800-foot underwater trail that twists through piles of limestone boulders and artificial reef. The reef is home to various species of fish, octopuses, seahorses, spotted rays, starfish, and other marine life. A kiosk on the shoreline near the underwater trail provides information to help snorkelers identify various sea creatures.
